Two screens you will live in

Everything it did, and everything it would not do

Two screens carry the whole product: the queue of what it would not answer alone, and the settings that decide what it will.

Held Re: Booking #30404, flight delayed

It refers to a booking it cannot see, and answering would have meant guessing a date.

Draft, ready to send

“Thanks for letting us know, I am checking your booking now and will come back with an exact time.”

It tells you why it stopped

Every held message says which rule held it, in a sentence, not a code, not a score on its own. The reply it would have sent is already written underneath.

Modeobserve
Never answercomplaints, refunds, legal
Confidence floor0.90
Daily cap per sender3

You decide what it may answer

Categories it must never touch, a confidence floor, a daily cap per sender, and one switch that stops all sending without stopping it reading.

How it works

What happens to a message, in order

The same four steps, every time, on every message. Nothing here is skipped for speed.

Mail arrives In your own mailbox, on your own server.
Reads and categorises it One of the categories you set, never one it invents.
Checks its own confidence Against the floor you set. Below it, it does not guess.
Answered Sent, in your name, from your own address. Held for you Drafted, with the reason it did not send, waiting in your queue.
Works with what you have

Keep the mailbox you already have

You do not move your email to us and you do not change your address. It signs in to the mailbox you already use, reads what is new, and replies go back out through your own mail server, signed by your own domain, from the address your customers already write to.

The part that matters

The model writes. It does not decide.

Whether a reply is sent is decided by a short list of plain rules you can read in one sitting, never by the model's own opinion of itself. Any one of these withholds it.

Categories you never automate

Complaints, refunds, legal, billing disputes. Listed by you, and it may not answer them however sure it is.

A confidence floor

It scores how safe sending unreviewed would be. Anything under your threshold is held, with the reason attached.

Anyone can reach a person

Every reply tells the customer how. One word back and the thread goes to a human, permanently.

It refuses to invent

If answering needs a fact it does not have, it stops and asks you rather than guessing plausibly.

A daily cap per sender

No one person can be answered more than a few times a day. That is what stops a loop becoming a thousand emails.

A pause that means it

One switch stops all sending immediately, without stopping it reading and drafting.

What happens if you run out

Nothing is lost. Mail keeps arriving and keeps being read, it is simply handed to you instead of being answered, with the reason attached. It picks up again on the 1st, or sooner if you move up a plan. Only messages the assistant actually read are counted: auto-replies, bulk mail and anything on your blocklist are not.

Questions

The things people ask first

Will it send something embarrassing?

Not without you letting it. Every account begins in observe mode, where sending is switched off entirely, it writes what it would have sent and shows you. Most people spend a week there.

Do I have to move my email to you?

No. You add a forwarder on your existing mailbox pointing at an address we give you, and nothing else changes. Replies go out through your own mail server.

What happens when it does not know something?

It stops. The assistant is not allowed to invent an order number, a date, a price or a policy, so when answering would need a fact it does not have, it escalates with a note saying what was missing.

Can a customer insist on a human?

Always. Every automated reply ends with a line telling them how, and one reply is enough. That thread is then marked for people only.

Where does my mail live?

In its own database, in its own directory, used by nothing else. One account's assistant cannot read another's mail because it is not looking at the same file.

Why this one

Built to be trusted before it is turned on

An assistant that answers customers in your name is only worth having if you can see what it would say before it says it. So that is where it starts, and it stays there until you decide otherwise.

See how it decides
  • It sends nothing until you say so, observe mode is where every workspace begins.
  • Every reply it holds tells you which rule held it, in words.
  • Your mail stays on your own server; replies leave from your own domain.
  • It answers in the language the customer wrote in, without being asked.

In practice

What it actually did this week

Real behaviour from a live inbox, not testimonials we do not have yet.

Airport parking, booking enquiries

Answered 38 enquiries about availability and price without help. Held 6 that referred to existing bookings, because it cannot see the booking system and will not guess at one.

Observe week, before anything was on

Ran for seven days writing replies it never sent. The operator read them, disagreed with two, adjusted the business context, and turned sending on in the second week.

Human support, a customer who had had enough

A third follow-up arrived with an angry tone. It escalated at once, flagged the thread for people only, and emailed the owner rather than waiting for the next digest.

Loop caught, an auto-responder

A vacation auto-reply bounced back and forth. The loop guard recognised its own footer and stopped at the first exchange instead of the thousandth.

Watch it answer your mail for a week

It costs nothing, it sends nothing, and at the end you will know whether you want it. That is a better argument than anything else on this page.

  • No card, ever
  • Your own mailbox, your own mail server
  • It sends nothing until you say so
