Privacy Policy

What this covers

This policy explains what Talvit collects when you use Talvit, why, who it is shared with, and the choices you have. It is written to be read, not to be survived.

What we collect

• Account details. Your name, email address and the workspaces you create. Needed to sign you in and to contact you about the service.
• Mailbox access. The host, username and password (or OAuth grant) for each mailbox you connect. Stored encrypted, used only to read new mail and to send the replies you approve. We never move your mail; it stays on your server.
• Message content. The emails the assistant reads, the classifications and drafts it produces, and the replies it sends. Kept in a database that belongs to your workspace alone.
• Business context. The description of your business you give the assistant to answer from.
• Usage and billing. How many messages were answered, what each cost to produce, and the record of your payments.

Who it is shared with

We do not sell your data and we do not use it to train anything. It is shared only with the services that make the product work:

• AI providers (such as Anthropic, OpenAI and Google) receive the text of a message and your business context so a reply can be drafted. They act on our instructions and do not train on it.
• Our payment processor handles your payments and receives only what a payment needs.
• Our hosting provider stores the databases and files, encrypted at rest.

How long we keep it

Message content and drafts are kept for as long as your workspace is active, so the assistant has the history it needs. Close a workspace and its database and files are deleted within 30 days. Billing records are kept as long as the law requires.

Your choices

You can ask for a copy of your data, correct it, or have it deleted, by writing to contact@talvit.com. You can disconnect a mailbox at any time, which stops all access to it immediately. You can put the assistant in a mode where it sends nothing.

Security

Mailbox credentials are encrypted. Each workspace's mail lives in its own database that no other workspace can read. The product runs no third-party trackers and no analytics.

International transfers

The services above may process data outside your country. Where that happens, it is done under the safeguards the law requires.

Changes

We will post any change here and update the date above. Material changes will be emailed to workspace owners.
