Terms of Service
Agreement
These terms are between you and Talvit ("we", "us") and govern your use of Talvit (the "service"). By creating an account you accept them.
The service
The service reads new mail in the mailboxes you connect, classifies it, drafts replies, and either sends them through your own mail server or hands them to you, according to the mode and rules you set. Every workspace begins in a mode where nothing is sent.
Your account
You must give accurate account details and keep your sign-in secure. You are responsible for what happens under your account. You must have the right to connect each mailbox you add and to let the service read and reply to its mail.
Your responsibilities
- Review before you automate. The assistant drafts with a language model, and a draft can be wrong. You decide which categories it may answer on its own, and you are responsible for the replies it sends once you turn sending on.
- Acceptable use. Do not use the service to send spam, to mislead, to break the law, or in a way that violates your mail provider's terms.
- Keep your details current so renewal and service notices reach you.
Plans and payment
Each plan covers a monthly volume of answered messages. Plans are paid in advance through our payment processor. A plan renews for another period when you pay again; nothing renews automatically and nothing is charged without you starting the payment. When a paid period ends without renewal, the workspace moves to a smaller free allowance and keeps reading your mail. Refunds are covered by the Refund Policy.
No warranty on generated content
The service is provided as is. We do not warrant that a drafted or sent reply will be accurate, complete or suitable. You are responsible for the mode you choose and the categories you allow.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss arising from a reply the service sent in a mode you enabled.
Suspension and termination
You may stop using the service and close your workspaces at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts the service or other users at risk. On termination, your data is handled as set out in the Privacy Policy.
Changes
We may change these terms. We will post the new version here with an updated date, and email workspace owners about a material change. Continuing to use the service after that is acceptance.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of the country in which we are established, and its courts have exclusive jurisdiction.
